After spending three years in an international finance organization working on impact investing, Maria decided that an MBA from a top-ranked school would be instrumental in helping achieve her goal of one day leading a Private Equity practice. Mark graduated from one of the top Law Colleges in India and subsequently worked with top Indian and American law firms, negotiating tricky contracts for media companies across the globe. 12 years into his career he faced the challenge of a plateaued career and wanted to breakthrough into the top-management posts in his firm. His problem – he had never had any management exposure/experience. Rhea joined a French luxury brand straight after college and fell in love with work of fashion, lifestyle and luxury. She spearheaded a major product launch and was able to start a luxury retail chain across the major urban centres in India. Although her brand had the market name to make the product a success in India, she wasn’t getting exposure to the international markets. Rhea aims to launch her own range of luxury products in the future and wants to target a global consumer based. Rhea came in with the specific requirement of going to a campus that understands international marketing and is now flying to ESADE for her MBA!

Adam is an engineer who switched fields post college and got into financial strategy consulting. His stellar work at one of the world’s leading consulting firms landed him in a premier consulting position with one of the Royal Families in the Middle East. Having originated and financially structured some of biggest governmental initiatives in the region, Adam thought it was the perfect time for him to explore a finance based MBA but his goal was unclear. After multiple discussions with his counsellor, Adam came up with the goal of working with the top governments of the world and help them to chalk out their developmental strategies using modern financial instruments. Adam will be graduating from Wharton in 2019 and already has offers from four strategy consulting specialist firms.
